properties page does not display

I have iis 5.0 on win2k svr. When I try to open the properties page for any
of the web or ftp sites in IE browser - nothing happens. It just says loading
in the bottom of the page but nothing shows up. I'm not able to display the
properties page for any of the sites.
The thing is that when I first installed Win2k svr and IIS 5.0 it worked,
but when I updated to SP4 and all the hotfixes, it stopped working.
any ideas why?
