Okay, this is pretty much personal bias, but:
I tried WebDAV once or twice, and it sucked royally. I couldn't get the
files to transfer, and when I did, it asked me for my username and password
over and over again. Maybe it was a configuration error on the part of the
people running the server, but it really soured me on the experience.
