I have Win2003/IIS6, I get the same error. Only thing that I know changes is the lates IE6 patch (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;834489). I have removed IIS and reinstalled - no change. I want anonymous access to my sites, which they are all set the same as yesterday.

Is there a policy or permission that would have changed with that IE patch.

I have read/tried all kinds of methods - next step is rebuild server - don't want to go there though
