    FTP supports resumption of upload ... if your client decided to implement
    it. Trouble is, it's not quite an RFC yet - but the feature has been
    implemented in dozens of clients and servers over the course of at least a
    decade. And it's in a draft document that's already been approved to become
    an RFC, IIRC.

    But it looks like the guys at Unisys are still living in the world of a
    decade or two ago. Sounds like Unisys :)
