Number of hits is simple, it's more or less the number of lines in the log
file (except the header lines, which are very few compared to the actual log
entries). If you want more detailed reports Microsoft has a Log Analyzer
tool but I have no idea what's it capable of, our company uses WebTrends to
analyze logs and create reports.
