Ok if I understand you correctly,
You just created a CSR from your server. You uploaded the
Key to your CA. They sent you the Key back.
You can now save that key as a .cer file, then you can
go here: Start Run type in mmc. Please go to File / Add
remove snap in. (Pop-UP) click add.
Select Certificates then click add. Now depending on what
type of key you have example your CSR key you got back
signed by Verisign, so please then select Computer
account; click next. Please then also select Finish. then
click OK you should now be in the Certificates MMC.
Expand the Selection Certificates. Select Personal and
then right click on it, go to all task import. You should
now be in the Welcome to the certificate Import Wizard.
Click next and I will let you take it from here... Good
Luck buddy! You should always do it from here that way
you can see what is going on and right after you get your
key in there export a backup right away!!! Store it off
of your SSL Server and get it on Tape or Boin it!
Remember to export the Private Key or your key will be
useless!!! Use this exported key to then import into
Server 2003. :)
