Hi Jody,
I have found several KB articles for you on this issue. First, I'd suggest
you follow the KB article Q310114 to export the certificate from Windows
Server 2003. Though this article is for Windows 2000, it is really useful
in Windows Server 2003. Please go to:
310114 HOW TO: Export Certificates in Windows 2000
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=310114
During the exporting, you will use the certificate MMC which is not
configured for you in Windows Server 2003 by default. You should configure
it manually as the steps.
1) type "mmc" in the start -> run
2) press File->Add/Remove snap-in, then one window pop up
3) press Add..., another window pop up which lists all the snap-in you can
add
4) please select "certificates", then choose the "Computer account->Local
computer" which will list all the certificates in your box
Then you can export the certificate following the KB article Q310114.
After successfully exporting the certificate, you can check the articles
below to improt the certificate to IIS4. Please go to:
324904 HOW TO: Import and Export an IIS 4.0 Certificate by Using Key Manager
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=324904
221549 Importing Client Authentication Certificates into IIS 4.0

Does this answer your question? Thank you for using Microsoft NewsGroup!
