Hello,
I'm having issues with security, if any body can help me
I'd like to thank you ahead of time. I'm using IIS 6.0
and have an ASP web application that uses microsoft
access. After copying the web application to the wwwroot
directory and try to add or modify the contents of the
database with an asp web form, I get the following error:
Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e09'
Cannot update. Database or object is read-only.
I'm also getting a couple of other errors aslo:
Object Moved (this happens with netscape 4)
Object or file already in use.
When I try to open the access database in access it
states that the database is read only. When I check the
permissions on the file I see that the read only checkbox
is UNCHECKED!
Can anyone please help me on how I should set up the NTFS
permissions and IIS permissions correctly so I can avoid
these errors.
Thanks,
Mike
