Bernard,

I accessed the ftp site using IE 6.0 on W2kServer, not
from a DOS prompt.

I had "Copy"ied the file Index.inc onto my clipboard from
another directory and tried to Paste it onto the virtual
directory created on the ftp site.

I *was* able to paste in onto the root of the ftp site but
*not* onto the virtual directory, even though both were
assigned both Read and Write permissions.

The error message was:

"An error has occurred copying a file on the FTP
server. Make sure you have permission to put files on the
server:

Error 550: Index.inc Access is denied"

Thanks for your help,

Dave
