Hi all,
I'm perplexed with the following error message when installing the
current IIS Lockdown utility (v2.1) on one of our development/staging
servers. The message was:
"INF Install failure. Reason: The form specified for the subject is
not one supported or known by the specified trust provider."
This message is consistently popped up when the installation reaches
the URLscan installation portion. The IIS Lockdown however is
completed successfully, according to the resulting setup log files.
The log file indicated that the URLscan is NOT installed.
The server in question hosts multiple roles -- an AD domain controller
and IIS with the Project Server 2002 web site.
Could someone kindly give me a quick pointer as to how to troubleshoot
this?
Many thanks.
