Hi All,
We use an IIS web site to distribute internal forms
(which are in the form of to Excel '97 spreadsheets
hosted on the web server).
For some of our users, they are being challenged with a
Windows login/pwd box when they select 'Save As' from
within the Excel spread*** running inside IE. Needless
to say, I'd like to eliminate this.
They don't the login/pwd challenge if they save the
spread*** by choosing the 'Save' instead of 'Open' when
given that option before the spread*** opens, or if
they do a right-click/Save Target As on the link to the
Excel spread***.
The IIS security for the virtual directory running the
site is set to allow anonyous access, with no requirment
for Windows security authentication.
Any ideas would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Jim
