Sure - what you likely have there is a problem caused by a NAT router or
firewall between your client and your server. Either the NAT isn't properly
translating the PORT commands and PASV responses, or the firewall is blocking
access. Try telling the client to turn on debug (the command is "debug"), and
let us know what you see when you try a transfer. This should help track down
what the problem could be.
