i am running a website on IIS on my machine. Basically, i
have some links that carry the names of folders, on
clicking any link, an asp file is called to which i pass
the folder name, a dll is invoked in that asp, in that
dll, i have hardcoded the root folder on a network
computer to which the foldername is appended, the dll then
searches that folder and returns the names of files and
subfolders to the asp which displays the results in a
tabular form, one can again click on any file or subfolder
for further processing. This works fine when i am opening
the website on web server, but this fails and i get an
error "Path not found" when i try to open the website on a
different machine.
  any help on this issue will be greatly appreciated.
