Hi Paul,
The functionality of the IIS Lockdown Tool for IIS 4 and 5 has been
integrated right into IIS 6. You can find out more about IIS 6 here:

Specifically, "IIS 6.0 provides significantly improved security. To reduce
the attack surface of systems, IIS is not installed by default on the
operating systems in the Windows Server 2003 family. Administrators must
explicitly select and install IIS. IIS installs by default in a locked down
state, capable of serving only static content"

| Is there an IIS lockdown tool for IIS 6.0. I am running the RC2 of .Net
| Server and everytime I go to run the lckdown tool from Microsoft's site it
| tells me that IIS is not running or I neeed to have version 4.0 or 5.0.
