Hi all,
I have tried to set up IIS 5 on SBS2000 and am having difficulty getting the
default web page to display when I attempt to access the server from the
internet side. Instead of giving the 'Under Construction' page, it gives me
an error that states:
Error Type:
Microsoft VBScript runtime (0x800A0046)
Permission denied: 'GetObject'
/localstart.asp, line 19
I have set this up on another SBS2000 and it works correctly.
If I access from the LAN side I get the default pages that show you how to
setup a web site. If I access from the internet side according to the
documentation, it should display the 'Under Construction' page. This server
does not.
I have re-setup this server half dozen times to figure out what I did
different from the last one that it worked on. I have had no luck. I have
run the ICW wizards multiple times in order to get this to work and have
tried numerous KB articles addressing authentication but no luck. If I run
the ICW, I am specifically selecting give internet users access to 'My Web
site' in the ISA setup portion, but this does not seem to work. Am I
missing something here?
