Note that your list of host files does _nothing_ to assist in reducing the
number of pop-ups caused by the messenger service, as Nicole was asking for.
Nicole, you can disable the messenger service, although perhaps it's better to
instead secure your system with a firewall or router. Your ISP should be able
to assist you in choosing and setting up a firewall that's appropriate for
their service.
