New Home Directory Error

I create a home directory, say D:\Web Site.... in IIS create a new web site
off the main server with the new home directory as it's root... stop the
default web site... run thru the permissions wizard and set server
permissions wizard on the new web site but it will not allow anyone in...
always gives the error "You are not authorized to view this page."... web
site is set up to allow anonymous access....

What did I forget ??? I have added the IUSR_computer name account to the
NTFS permission....
