Some yahoo at one of my clients opened up their FTP Server
for full anonymous internet access with read/write
priviledges. The result now is that the IIS FTPROOT folder
is littered with hundreds of directories and and files
created by hacker type folk. Neither Windows Explorer or
the Command Line DEL command will allow me to delete these
files or directories. I even tried going into the Command
Line and doing a DIR /X command to get the file/directory
short names and then doing a DEL on the short name. The
DEL command completes without error, but unfortunately it
doesn't delete anything. I also tried doing a CHKDSK /F
to see if that would make the files deletable, but no
luck. Any ideas?
