We have a web site running on Windows 2000 Server (IIS) +
SP2. Our web site requires client authentication combined
with client certificate. When a user is entering our web
site, he selects a client certificate (from the client
certificates dialog box) and enters the web site. We found
a problem on Windows XP (only XP) that after entering our
web site and selecting the client certificate, the user
keeps getting the client certificates dialog box in other
places on our web site. Then if he selects or deselects a
certificate (even press "cancel") the page is displayed
correctly. Does anyone know what can cause the client
certificate dialog box to reappear again and again ?
By the way, we tested this environment with all the latest
security patches for windows 2000 server and without them,
but the problem occurs in both cases.
I'll appreciate any help.
