Thanks for answering my question...
I looked into the NTFS permission of the *.wmv file,
everybody was granted "read and execute" permission. I
tried to grand everyone a full control as Administrator
does, but the file still wont play.
I also notice a few interesting things: one is that the
video can be played without a problem on the server
itself; the second thing is that if I replace the *.wmv
file with a *.mpg file, the vidoe will play fine on any
machine, which means all the problems are gone.

again, any idea?
