viewing secure sites

I too cannot access "financial secure sites". After
having a PC problem yesterday I did restore to the last
day I was able to access my financial secure sites. Then
I completely reloaded Windows98 because some items did not
restore. All seems fine now, except for the above. I
have chk'd the internet "Tools", for cookies, java script,
security Medium. Tonight I did download Microsoft
Internet Explorer 6 Sp 1......still cannot access the
above mentioned secured financial sites (login & password).
Anyone know a fix?
