Hi Rose,

>From your description of the problem, I am a little unclear as to the exact
IIS problem you are having. Can you provide more information from an IIS
perspective? For example:

1) What version of Windows are you running?

2) Is the IIS server the actual machine you are trying to perform the
Restore on?

3) What exactly do you mean by "Log onto your accounts"? Do you mean you
are browsing to a web page on your IIS server, you get prompted for
authentication, but you cannot view the web page after entering your
credentials?

4) The title of your newsgroup post is "Viewing Secure Sites". Are you
implementing SSL on your IIS server, and this is where the problem is?

Thanks,

Michael Laing

| I can not log onto my accounts. I get an error message
| that the page can not be viewed. I have tried to restore
| my computer to an earlier time, but it will only offer to
| restore to the present time. It will not give me any
| choices or go back to a previous month. In systems to
| performance to file system my restore level is not
| highlighted and can not be adjusted. I went into
| troubleshooting and disable system restore was checked. I
| unchecked it applied the changes and restarted the
| computer. This was done several times. Everytime I check
| back, the box for disable system restore is checked again.
| I tried to update windows, but update is incomplete. I
| lowered my security settings to medium-low, but I still
| can't update. I am totally frustrated. If I could restore
| to anytime before the 27th of December everything would be
| find, but this machine seems to have developed a mind of
| it's own. Any suggestions? I have e-mailed microsoft,
| but have received no reply.
