I have a single website that I am hosting (IIS5, Win2K) that has 2 domains
associated to the site. The site has Domain1.com and Domain2.com. Each
domain has it's own IP address. I now want to add SSL to the site. I ran
the Wizard and added the certificate for Domain1.com on the site, but I
don't have an option in the Wizard to add a second certificate for
Domain2.com.
On IIS4, on NT4, I can use the Key Manager and bind the Certificate to the
IP address that I am associating with the domain. It appears that on IIS5,
can only install the certificate for the site.
I'm hoping that someone has a better solution than to create a site for each
domain and point them to the same source directory. While that would allow
me to perform what I want to do, it creates the issue that I now have a
second site to manage, a second site to make changes to, and a second site
to test to ensure that everything works correctly.
Thanks in advance.
