Hi,

I am trying to make my site secure using SSL. I installed a certificate
serivces with Stand-alone
Certificate Authority. It works fine.

I can request a certificate and the request is processed as desired. But the
problem comes when
I am trying to make my site secured using directory security option in
IIS5.0. I have the certificate
installed on the directory security option. But when I connect to my site
using https:// it says cannot
find server. But when i try to connect to the site using http: it says as
expected page must be viewed
over a secure channel.

There are no firewall settings to be taken care of as I am trying to run
this on my localhost. So thats not
problem I guess.

If someone can help me out with what my mistake is ?

Thank you in advance
Ashwin.
