IIS 5 and PerlScript

Hi,

I'm running IIS5 on a WIN2000 machine.
I developed the following html page with PerlScript.
The page will telnet to another machine and get the
content of a certain file there to display it in a text-
box.

My problem is that this only works once after I saved the
page on my webserver. If I load the page a second time it
will be blank.
To get the page working again I open it in for example
FrontPage and save it again.
After this action it will work again once!

Does anyone know what can be the problem?
