Why aren't you using a firewall? Use a firewall. Firewalls like
www.sygate.com are free.
Also, you might need pop-up stopper / adware stopper software.
I assume you probably aren't running antivirus software either. AVG from
www.grisoft.com is free [but it's useless unless you download updates at
least once a month if not more often]. Also visit www.windowsupdate.com
like once a month or so to get the latest updates.
