Hi,
We are having problems accessing our site with and sometimes without SSL.
The site is running 3 servers - 2 web servers and 1 database server. The 2
webservers are running NT 4 Server with IIS 4 and are load balanced. At the
moment I can only access the website with SSL (https), if I try and access
this without SSL (just http) I get page cannot be found. Although this
changes sometimes (completely random when) and then I can only access the
site with SSL.
This has been like this for the last week and some of our clients using the
site are having the same problem but not all of them... some people can get
into the site without any problems with both SSL and non SSL. We are able
to access the website with and without SSL on the local server and access
the local network without any problems. We have rebooted both of the
servers, checked the load balancer, checked the firewall, checked the SSL
certificates, tried different ISP's, tried different internet browsers and
still get the same problem.
We have completely run out of ideas of what might be causing this, has
anybody else had this problem? any idea what else we might be able to run
tests on?
Thanks,
Dan Derham
