One more thing ... I tried with a 3rd computer:
3rd Computer (for SQL Server client tools and Visual
Studio 6 Interdev with SP5):
Computer Name "LOCAL2"
Windows 2000 Professional
SQL Server Enterprise (Client Tools Only) SP2
NTFS partition
Member of Domain "WORK"
Logged with username user01 on "WORK" Domain
No Active Directory
User Accounts (same as 1st computer):
1.
Username: Administrator
Password: adm
Member of: Administrators
2.
Username: user01
Password: logme
Member of: Users/Administrators
The same authentication window appeared, and I passed
it ... I tryed the following user with success:
Username: SERVER\Administrator Password: pwd
I think this was the only one I could log on with ... but
I created the project in Interdev with no problems at
all ...
Why does it work with it? I changed NO setting at all ...
