Response:
1. Need to disable Integrated Windows and include Basic authentication.
2. The connect as account need to have access this computer from network
and logon locally rights. The easiest way to ensure intended accounts have
sufficient rights is to create a local group on the machine hosting the
contents, i.e. your file server here assuming a member or stand-alone
server, and assign appropriate permissions followed by adding intended
users into the group. If the contents are in a domain controller, you will
need to set it in domain controller policies. In such case, I recommend you
call Microsoft Technical Support since depending on your IT infrastructure
and configured applications, there can be many complications.
