Response:
This is a work group environment. Namely there is no a central security
database as it is in a domain environment.
Computers in the same workgroup will be visible to one another. Still
"each" machine has its own security database locally. Consequently each
machine will need to have the account information of an intended user.
Also in IIS console, rightclick the web site and go to properties/directory
security/edit anonymous access and authentication control, uncheck
Integrated Windows and check Basic authentication. This will allow user
credentials to be passed to IIS for authentication. More information on how
