500 error for localstart

I've just turned on IIS on a Win2k controller. When I try
to connect to http://ipaddress (the ID of the IIS machine)
while logged on as admin on that machine, I get a signon
screen, followed by:
Error Type:
Microsoft VBScript runtime (0x800A0046)
Permission denied: 'GetObject'
/localstart.asp, line 18

Browser Type:
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows NT 5.0)

I looked at Q255650, Q220173,and Q311766. I've set the
security on localhost as described. I still get a logon
screen and then the error listed above. What should I do
to resolve this?
