Hi Phillip,

>From your description it sounds like your users may be missing some
necessary permissions and security policies. Do they have the "Access This
Computer From The Network" and "Log On Locally" policies? Have a look at
this article, as it explains the minimum permissions and policies necessary
for IIS:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q187506

Also, do your users receive the HTTP 500 error on both ASP and HTML pages,
or just ASP pages?

Thanks,

Michael Laing

| I have a Windows 2000 server with Active directory. My users are setup
| in AD so they can only log on to specific computers. This creates a
| problem when they try to logon to a secure part of the IIS site. I get
| an HTTP 500 Internal server error. If I set the user account to allow
| access to all computers it works. I have also tried to allow the users
| access to the server that has the website on it and still no luck. any
| help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
