Does anyone know if there is a way to let IIS users
authenticate against a RADIUS server instead of
authenticating against NT domain or the local SAM?
The reason I am asking is I have a client that has 2000+
users in an Novell NDS database. They are using IIS on
all of their web servers. The web servers are in an NT
domain which does not contain all of these accounts.
Users want to be able to login to web applications with
their Novell ID and passwords.
RADIUS is running on one of the Novell servers one of my
company's programmers has configured our Linux/Apache
server (offsite) to authenticate against this client's
RADIUS server using a freeware RADIUS client. I have yet
to find a solution for IIS on the web and I have searched
the heck out of google, msdn, and microsoft. I have found
more than a few Apache/PHP modules that can authenticate
against RADIUS.
If anyone knows of a free ASP Radius client they can
recommend, I would appreciate it. I don't think the
client would mind buying one from an ISV either, although
it shouldn't take much code to authenticate a user ;)
