I think the article is not correct. IWAM is logged on by COM+ (DLLHOST.EXE).
COM+ does a batch logons.
IUSR is logged on by IIS. IIS does an interactive logon by default (can be
configured via the script shown in earlier thread).

Therefore you have to either change the logonmethod or allow IUSR to be
logged on interactively.

You can see if IUSR can logon interactively by opening SECPOL.MSC and search
for the User Right "allow logon locally.
