ASP code wont run

Under XP Pro, the IIS wont run pages with asp code.

When I run a page such as default.asp (threw
http://localhost), which has no actual asp code, but just
html, it runs fine. But when there is some code, the
pages load forever, and eventually gives a

HTTP 403.9 - Access Forbidden: Too many users are
connected

error. (and I'm the only one conecting, so I dont think
is has to do with the 10 users limit)
