We run proxy server 2.0 in our NT domain. When the users'
were using internet explorer 4.5 or 5.0 they were being
prompted for the user name and password for accessing
external websites. We use NTLM authentication.

Microsoft has released the latest version of Internet
Explorer 5.1 for Apple Mac users. When trying to go to
external websites, it does prompt for username and
password but then doesn't authenticate and gives error
401.1, proxy authentication errors.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.
