It just got more weird! When I run netstat now, ports 80
and 443 are there (they were definitely not there
previously) and I can telnet to the server on port 443 -
but the original problem still exists. So I have assumed
that there is a problem with the certificate, so I
requested an evaluation certificate from verisign but the
program now crashes when I try to install the
certificate. In fact, it loses any reference to the key
request and I have to start again. I've done this twice
now and the program crashes (Dr. Watson error - but no log
is being created!). I get the feeling I should trash this
server and start again!

Regards,

Kevin.
