Rather than the article being wrong, you think it might be more feasible to
believe there is more than one reason this error can occur? :)
It is possible for permissions to be wrong on the MachineKeys folder that
could cause the same error. Follow the suggestions in the article below to
verify the permissions are correct, and even if they are, reset them to
make sure all machine keys contained in the MachineKeys folder are
inheriting the permissions from the parent directory. You can do this by
selecting
