IIS gives you the ability to "Require a secure channel (SSL)" on web sites,
virtual directories, and individual pages. If there's a certain page you
want to enable SSL on, go to the properties of that page from the Internet
Service Manager, click File Security, choose Edit under Secure
Communications, then check the box "Require a secure channle (SSL)". You
can use these same steps for any virtual directory as well.
As long as the default site doesn't have that page checked, users should
still be able to hit it using HTTP.
