I am running W2K Professional SP2. I created an ASP page, put it in
wwwroot, but when I browsed to it, I was prompted for a password and
then got HTTP 401.4: "Unauthorized: Authorization Denied by Filter".
There are no filters installed.
What I want is NT authentication and nothing else. But in Internet
Services Manager, Digest Authentication is checked and grayed out.
I downloaded MetaEdit and changed "AuthFlags" from 16 (deciamal) to 4.
Now, I get:
HTTP 401.2 - Unauthorized: Logon failed due to server configuration
Internet Information Services
Any help greatly appreciated.
