If the folder containing the .ASP pages are set in the IIS MMC to medium or
high for "application isolation," then the IWAM account may be being used
instead.
It's a good idea both for troubleshooting and for web security to enable
auditing on the system and then use the NTFS advanced file properties to
enable at least failed file access auditing for Everyone and for Guests for
probably all the files on your system. Then you can check the windows
security event log after a failed access to see exactly what permissions are
necessary and for which login ID.
