a) In WindowsXP turn off "Simple File Sharing" - this isn't really required
to get you up and running, but it will make File Sharing work like you are
used to in Win2k. In Explorer, goto to Tools | Folder Options | View, and
uncheck the box that says "Use Simple File Sharing". Now, on any share that
you have, assign the appropriate permissions. Now, when you right-click on a
folder you should see the standard "Security"/"Property" options
b) In WindowsXP, create User Accounts/Passwords that match what you are
using on the Win2k box
c) (If required), re-add the Frontpage Server Extensions on the WinXP box.
This will create 3 user groups on the WinXP box (Admins, Authors, Browsers).
You may need to remove the FPSE and readd them to get this option
d) Add the user account on the WinXP box that matches the user account that
you are using on the Win2k box, to the "Admins" local group on the WinXP
box.
Cheers
