a) Please post the *exact* error message you are receiving, plus post any
configuration changes you made to IIS. Please do not post "it basically says
xxx", because it is very difficult to search any support resources if we do
not know the exact error message
b) In response to the second problem you are having, in Internet Explorer,
please go to Tools | Internet Options | Advanced, and uncheck the box that
says "Show friendly HTTP errors", and reload the page. Instead of the bland
500 error, you should now get a more detailed error message from the server
(IE is hiding this from you - it is generating a generic error page based on
the HTTP status code received from the server)
Cheers
Ken
