Issue:
| i have an IIS 4.0 running on NT 4.0 sp6.
| I'm trying to install a VeriSign Certificate.
| when I click the "Key manager" button I'm prompted with the following
| message "The system cannot find the specified file", and I can't go
further.
| how can I solve the problem?
|
| thank you for your help

Tavi,

If you are receiving the above error you may want to make sure that you
are pointing to the public key that verisign has provided.
Also, in some cases verisign will just give you back a text file and you
must change this format to a .cer extension.
After you change the format then you may want to try to install the
certificate using the .cer file.
I have seen this issue a couple of times, but your situation may be
different.
If the above does not help, please re-apply the latest service pack
available for NT 4
