Only the original MD4 based RIPEMD has been broken. RIPEMD-160 is still secure.

I want to use RIPE MD-160 hash algorithm from C#.NET.
Is the algo. support already available in standard.net framework (as direct
class is not supported like other hash algorithm, may be some configuration
etc.)?

Hi,
Just out of curiosity - why RIPE MD? Do you know that RIPE MD was
broken by Wang couple of years ago. She presented collision attack on
several hash algorithms in 2004 (Crypto 2004) includding MD4, MD5 and
RIPE MD. A year later she also presented collision attack on SHA1, but
if you compare SHA1 attack to RIPE MD attack - finding collisions with
SHA1 still requires much more work than with RIPE MD...
