a couple of months ago, the wallpaper on my desktop was inverted as were the
mouse functions. i've deleted unused files from my computer and run virus
scans with no solution. my solution to date has been to put the monitor on
its side so that the computer is still usable. when on its side, the screen
is then readable as is the mouse usable (since all of its functions were
    basically inverted).

anybody have an idea as to what has occurred?
