Geek,
It's unfortunate that you don't have anything positive to contribute
to these newsgroups. This is the second thread where I have been
forced into a non-technical debate defending our company and products
against non-relevant posts in response to our technical posts that are
directly revelant to the original post concerns. I am not interested,
do not have the time, and I'm sure that the readers in this forum are
also not interested in reading your non-technical criticisms that
pollute these technical forums. As a indicated before, the features
that we promote about our products, are provided to directly meet
developers needs. Features that are new and superior to those provided
by our competitors are no less relevant and are often suggested or
added to solve problems described by developers in these forums to
directly resolve their concerns. Please try to remember that this is a
technical forum and most readers are not interested in reading your
non-techinical opinions regarding whether products are suggested here
to resolve the need described by the user who posted the issue. It is
also very common for all of the vendors who provide commercial
products to suggest their products in these forums when they are
directly relevant to the post, and the user is looking for a new or
better solution to resolve his issues. We pay seperately for
advertising to offer our products in response to search engine
queries.
If you want to continue this discussion, please post technical
concerns or questions related to the issues resolved by our products
or the products offered by other vendors, but try to refrain from
making antagonistic comments regarding our company or it's products or
this will just serve as an additional opportunity for us to respond
and defend our products as needed. If you don't want to see them
mentioned or promoted, then you should probably stop posting negative
non-relevant posts that require a response to defend their legitimate
use to the developer community who needs them.
