I settled on Xenocode (http://www.xenocode.com/en/) - after trying 5
products - because it seemed to produce the best (most difficult to
comprehend) obfuscated code (though it didn't necessarily have the best
feature set). However, *always* keep in mind that the Salamander Decompiler
(http://www.remotesoft.com/salamander/index.html) will decompile pretty much
anything into quite high level (i.e. readable) code. I'd advice you to spend
your money wisely - the dearest isn't necessarily any more 'secure' than the
others!
