How do I read the password HASH value from Windows 2000

    My application needs to read the hashed value (not the cleartext) of user passwords from Woindows. How can I do this? If not, is there a way for me to supply a hash to Windows and ask it to compare it with whatever it has stored in order to authenticate the user?
