I am able to successfully import the openssl X509 pkcs12 certificate into the IE5.0 (128 bit) Personal Certificate Store using Tools->Internet Options->Certificates->Import. However, when I run mmc.exe with the Certificate Snap-in dialog and accept the Computer Account option for the Local Computer account , select the same openssl X509 pkcs12 certificate, and click Finish, I still get the following message : "The private key that you are importing might require a cryptographic service provider that is not installed on
your system". Any hints or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
